Mail keeps asking for password!

i have a macbook pro.

Mail, far to often, says 'Enter password for Account'. It knows it! I haven't changed anything recently.

Why does it keep doing this?

Please help.

That has happened to me too a few times. I don't know why.

that's happened to me too, i don't know why either. The thing that seemed to fix it was just deleting the account then reinstalling it, it hasn't bothered me for a while now

Archive the mailbox.
Delete the current accounts.
Setup new accounts.
