Mail keeps forgetting my password, asks for it to be confirmed 3 times a day

The icon will start bouncing and it says I need to enter my password, the password is remembered in the field but I need to click the enter button every time to get it to work again.

For multiple accounts btw. Outlook, gmail
How do I fix?

This happens to me a lot too, but the issue is very sporadic. It'll make me enter my password for only one of the three email addresses I have synced to Mail four or five times, then it'll just stop. It does it for a day or two (multiple times a day), then has no problem for a couple weeks. Then out of the blue it'll happen again. I never figured out why. Granted, I've never really looked for a fix because it doesn't happen consistently enough to annoy me too badly, but it would be nice to know why it's so bipolar sometimes
