I just got a new MBP. I set it up with an old time machine back up of my previous machine.

Mail is now doing the following: When I get a new message (on my school account, so far not with gmail) it tells me it's new and has a title that confirms that, but when I open it in Mail, the message is old, and from somewhere around October 9, 2009. This has happened 4 or 5 times now.

When I look at the messages online through the email website, they are what they are supposed to be. I replied to one of them through the website, and it corrected it on my Mail application. The ones I didn't reply to did not get fixed.

So, any ideas?

Is this a mac problem, an email server problem, know how to fix it, etc?

Thanks.
