I have a continuing issue with Mail that I have been unable to get to the bottom of. When sending mail with attachments from my work Windows machine, the attachment is removed on arrival at my IMac. However, when I check with my ISP and look at my mailbox stores online, all the attachments are showing in the received email, so they are either being stripped off when 'forwarded' from my ISP, or Mail is stripping them on arrival.
My ISP, not surprisingly, is blaming the application for removing the attachments although this seems odd to me.
The files that get removed are image files (jpgs) and MS Office files, although I haven't actually tried any other type of file, so it's not a lot of help knowing that! The only way I can guarantee safe receipt of attachments is to Zip them up, then Mail seems happy to receive a Zip file.
Any help anyone?
Chris
