Mail not download emails from Google account

Hi,

i have two gmail accounts on my Apple Mail (Version 2.1.3 (753.1)). Since 2 weeks one of them does not download the emails from the google server. I do not changed any preferences, not in Apple Mail, not in the google account.

What i tryed without succes:

-repair disk premissions
-rebuild mailbox
-checked all of settings.

Mail connect via pop3 the the goolge server.

Why not set up Gmail via IMAP, instead of POP3? It's a much better approach.
