MAIL- not showing Gmail attachments

On Ipad-
When I open Gmail email that is supposed to have attachment, it is not there. I have to go online with Gmail to download the attachment.

This the Apple's Mail app I suppose you are using? A few options:

• turn off your iPad and restart and try again
• if the previous one doesn't work then remove your Gmail account from your e-mail accounts and reconnnect it again
• If that also doesn't work then try a third party app like Gmail, Inbox by Gmail, Airmail, Spark, Email by Easylido
