So if this isn't the email sound, that's the only thing I can think of that sounds like this....
My Mac will not stop making mail notification sounds. I have all the notifications connected to mail off, app closed. And it will not stop the 'bing' every few minutes. It is the mail sound, but if it's not connected to mail what else is making that sound? I have no other active notifications coming when it does it, and nothing corresponding on my phone. SO I can't figure out what's triggering it, especially if its not email. It's driving me up the wall because I have to just keep the volume down on my Mac, but then I miss notification sounds I do want.
