I can't seem to get the mail app to indicate a new message unless I open the app. I have focus turned off an all notifications allowed for mail - is there something else I'm missing?

Monterey 12.7.1 - with all updates. Mail is Outlook - works fine on my iPad running 17.

Thanks

Is your mail account an iCloud or an IMAP account? Not all IMAP servers support push notifications. If do, you may configure Mail to poll for new emails.

Edit:
I overlooked you use Outlook. Have you configured push notifications?

Thanks for reply - I believe it's Microsoft Exchange - I have all notifications turned on in Outlook. I don't see anything that indicates "push" in terms of notifications. I see it on my iPad and it's turned on and mail badges work there.

Any other thoughts?
