Mail problem - help!

When I try to send an email from this school email address, I get:

"CANNOT SEND MAIL"
"The recipient (********@******.edu) was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying."

I have this problem on wifi and 3G.

Any help would be highly appreciatted.

Let me add, when I send emails from my Yahoo! mail and Hotmail accounts, there is no problem.

Sounds like the SMTP server you are using with that account is configured to only accept mail for it's "own" domain. That is not relay to other domains. Or perhaps you need to authenticate to that server in order to send email outside it's domain. A quick fix may be to use the same SMTP server you're using with either Yahoo or Hotmail.

From Account Info, I tapped "SMTP" and enabled "Other SMTP Servers."
