I've searched and searched an spent hours on the phone with Apple, Telus and Bell to no avail.

I have a new iPhone 3Gs on the Telus network. I'm trying to set up my mail (.......@bellnet.ca). I've got it so I can receive mail but am getting "cannot connect to smtp" when trying to send. I've been told by Bell I should be using Telus smtp but when I change to that smtp (after speaking to Telus) it doesn't fix the problem.

Has anyone encoutntered this issue? Any suggestions on how to overcome it?
