Mail problems - AOL to Hotmail, sbcglobal & earthlink

Recently switched from Windows to Mac. Have iMac. Cannot send email to hotmail, sbcglobal or earthlink accounts from iMac. Can send from iPhone and iPad. Is there a setting I don't know about? My email account is AOL.

We can't help you without knowing the settings you entered when you created your email accounts in Mail when you set up your Mac.
