Mail program function like Windows Microsoft outlook???

i was wondering if it is so? i tried adding my gmail and company email acct. but it does not work... do i need to purchase MobileMe? i really need a software like Outlook for ease of checking emails. thanks

OS X comes with a program called 'Mail' which is apple's answer to outlook's email client. There is also another free alternative in Thunderbird from mozilla.com.

Just make sure with GMAIL, if you want to use it as IMAP you have to enable that from within GMAIL itself. For your work e-mail, I presume you're talking about exchange mail. Make sure you configure that account as an exchange account and not a POP or IMAP, if that is the case.
