Mail Push, only new messages

I thought the point of MobileMe mail was to have the badge of new emails pushed. But it doesn't push the number back down to 0 when you read your messages through another route, like me.com .
Will 3.0 bring changes, or am I just thinking too much again...

Works for me... but it can take a long time for that to happen. If I look into my mail folder, it then catches up with itself.

Yes, luckily that works, but the badge number only ever goes up. It never updates back down after you read your messages.

Yeh, I know what you mean on that one. It is a bit annoying. I've come to live with it though. I had a windows mobile device to try the other month and it drove me bonkers.
