I am running IOS 6 beta 3. And I have a question that Ive really never had an answer to. Is there a way to have my text messages vibrate and ring but only have my mail ring. Or....have my text messages vibrate and ring but keep my mail on silent???
 
As far as I know no, possibly with jail breaking. However with stock FW you can. You can set your messages/email etc to silent by selecting "none" in the sounds menu and thereby muting selected ones but I don't think what you're asking is possible
