Hi,

I currently have 4 email accounts linked to the mail app on my iMac. Is there a setting somewhere in the app that allows me to set a default email account to always use when composing emails?

I'm having a problem whereby I send an email and only realise when it's sent that I've done so from a different email account and not the one I intended (the app keeps choosing a different email account to send from each time. It's my fault really for not checking whilst creating the email). There is one email account I use for the majority of my emails and it would be great if I could have it setup as a default for composing new emails.

Yep, sure is.

Preferences>Composing>Send new message from:

Choose the email address you want and that will be the one to always show when you start a new email.
