ny somewhere
i've set up a rule in mail for spam, with about 50-60 conditions; i've had it running for years; now it's gone. ("News From Apple" is still there).

any ideas? i do not use icloud with mail. and my signatures and other mail preferences are intact. finally, where is this file stored? as i may be able to retrieve a backup...

thx!
[doublepost=1568124451][/doublepost]i've tried replacing the 3 'rules' preferences from an older backup, but no change. a container file perhaps? anyone?...

i've tried that, the unsyncedrules, and the activestate files; from a backup, and from the containers folder. no change. :(

That was my best guess. I only have four simple rules. That file contained them. I tested it by changing a rule, and the modification date of that file changed. Maybe yours changed so long ago that you no longer have any backup.

i update it regular, to block repeated spam addresses. somewhere in the last month it... self-destructed. so it goes...
