I get a lot of spam from addresses that can't seem to be filtered out by Mail Rules. For example, I got mail today from "Warranty Extension <Auto@interdateonline.com>" Well, I get dozens of spams a month from something or other with "Warranty" on what appears to be the FROM line. HOWEVER, mail rules can't filter this out, because if you ask it to declare as Junk this email, the rule doesn't see the same From line. It's protected from the rule, and tells me it's from Auto@... etc.

My question: Why not? Is there a way to make rules that see through these obvious spams?

This is the one thing that keeps Mail Rules from being 85% effective. Now it's just 65%.
