mail satellite replacement?

anyone? i've used this for years; gives me a number in the menubar (of how many emails are waiting in my mail inbox). no longer working and... developer's site is gone.

anyone know of a (non-gmail) app to do this? thanx....

anyone using a menubar notification for apple mail? hoped there would be some way to do this...
