Mail search stopped working completely

Although OSX Ventura boasted how it improved the Mail search - it just stopped working at all which is really frustrating and time consuming. Simply whatever I write into the search field nothing appears as a result (as it normally).

I really wonder how this is possible and why Apple is not able to provide this essential functionality 100% reliably ... (after so many years and versions).

So it means I have to rebuild the whole mail, inboxes etc and hope it will be working again for a limited time being ?

Mine is still working. I'm running the beta versions, but I don't think it ever stopped working.

I'd also suggest deleting and rebuilding Spotlight's cache completely. It's easy to go and google will tell you how.

Do all other spotlight searches work?
