Mail Search

When I perform a search in Mail, the list of results in Mail also shows results from within my Notes app. Is that a functionality I wasn't aware of?

What OS X version are you on? On older versions the notes were actually just a folder in mail app, so what you are seeing would make sense.

I'm on Yosemite, latest version (10.10.4).
I remember the Notes in Apple Mail, but AFAIK they were removed.
Strange that I get these search results...

Yeah... Notes is for sure separate on Yosemite. I did a couple tests on Yosemite and my Notes don't show up in a Mail search at a all.
