I almost never use mail on my watch but was out yesterday when I got one and replied from my watch. I noticed later that the sent mail didn’t show up in my phones sent mail. I verified this morning that the recipient got it but it’s still not showing up. Is that normal behavior?

It should show up on all your devices.
you've tried refreshing the sent mail on your phone? (pull down on the screen)

what kind of mail is it? (google, aol, outlook, exchange, corporate, etc)

if you send mail on your phone, can you see it in the sent mail on your computer?
and vice-versa?

how is your phone configured?
there's 2 different ways mail severs work, POP and IMAP.
Pop is old, and doesn't hold onto things, if it downloads to one computer, it's gone off the server.
IMAP, is pretty much everything else these days. the mailboxes exist on the server, and get synced to your devices.

I'm not sure if the watch actually syncs with the phone, or syncs back directly to the server.

It works fine for me. As a test I just created a new email using my watch and sent it - it was received, and the outbox on my Mac shows it in there immediately.

But thanks for this thread 🤣 I actually never knew you could create brand new emails straight from the watch! I thought you could only reply! After a year, still learning things LOL

Thanks for the replies. To answer some of the questions posed, it is a Mac.com account & it's set up for IMAP. All of my other devices (Mac, iPad, iPhone, etc) work normally (show all of the email and update with any changes made on other devices. It appears to be something peculiar to my watch.

Thanks for testing it out G.McGilli, sounds like I need to dig into this further. I'm glad to know that it's not acting as it should. That at least gives me a place to start.

Thanks guys. I ended up resetting the synced data on the watch & now it is working as expected. I appreciate the help on this one.
