Hi Guys,

I've got a question to my Mavericks mail server.

I noticed the following and I'm not sure if this is the normal behaviour:

User 1 has 3 e-mail aliases and can receive mails from them which is fine but User 1 can also send E-Mails from any alias even from one which doesn't exist in the directory at all for example:
User 1 has alias user, user1 and usertest receving mail works fine but this user can also send E-Mails from User2@mydomain.com which I think shouldn't happen because this allows me to send E-Mails in the name of other users.

I'm running the latest Mavericks with the latest Mavericks Server the problem is in my case nothing serious as it is a home setup however I would like to know if this is normal or if this is anything I can change?

The Server setup is pretty basic nothing special apart from authentication setting s and the alias has been created via Workgroup manager under 'short names'

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
