Something I find really annoying in Mail's RSS is that feed items can appear as new multiple times if they are updated. For example, if you add the BBC News Front Page feed then obviously you get a new RSS item for every news item on the main BBC page. However, you also get a second *NEW* RSS item every time the article is changed; it appears as "Some Article - UPDATED" in Mail.

This can happen for minor things, like the BBC notice a spelling mistake and fix it. I don't want to be notified of updates, I'd rather be notified only of completely new articles.

Does anyone know if, and how, Mail can be set to mark completely new items as new but ignore updated RSS items?
