Mail showing unread mail where there isn't any

Hey y'all,

I recently had to reformat and reinstall Lion on my Mid-2009 MBP. Everything went smoothly and I re-linked my four email accounts (2 gmail, 1 yahoo, 1 exchange) to Mail.

The issue is that my unread count is showing one (in my exchange address) where there isn't any.

I've tried everything I can think of: arranging by unread, making a smart folder that only has unread messages, going into the exchange account to check for unread messages, deleting and re-adding the exchange account, but NOTHING IS WORKING.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to resolve this issue?
