Mail sound effects 'late'.

Anyone else had this with Mavericks Mail app?

I send or receive an email and the notification sound effects are late- anywhere from 20-40 seconds late.
It is kinda weird.

Yeah happens on mine too. I read Mail has loads of bugs and Apple are currently 'fixing' them.

Same here. Been like this since the developer previews.

Yes, I've noticed the same thing. My iPhone chimes at least 1-2 minutes and receives the email before my iPhone under Mavericks. Just checked my email preferences on the iMac and it's defaulted to checking emails "Automatically". I changed it to check emails every minute and now the iPhone and iMac chimed and received the email push at the same time.
