Hey guys! I'm new to this forum and I don't know if there is already a thread like this out there, but I was wondering if it is possible to have a sound play every time you receive a new email? Just like in the movie Eurotrip, if you guys have seen it. Thanks for the help in advance!

You mean a customized sound? I'm not sure how to do that, I'd assume the very last option of the drop down menu I mention below...

Hm, well, it's easy to get Mail.app to play a sound when you get new mail. Go to Mail> Preferences> General tab> New mail sound (drop down menu). Knock yourself out. :D

if you want your original sound to play then go to;
Mail> Preferences> General tab> New mail sound (drop down menu) > then select add/remove
from there just select the sound file you want mail to play.
that file will be copied to /user/your user name/Library/Sounds
hope that helps
