Mail Still Goofy

I installed the most recent Mail update yesterday, but Mail is still acting strangely. For example, I hit return twice to space after a paragraph, but Mail sent the email at that point. Other oddities convince me that Mavericks and Mail are still not playing nicely.

Anyone else having Mail problems continue?
