I'm working for a company that has two iPads and one PC and one boss with one iPhone, one iPad and one MacBook - altogether six devices. All six devices have the same Gmail IMAP mail account installed. I'm not sure about the installed operating systems on the Apple devices (the PC has Windows 8.1 on it) - the iPhone has for sure iOS 9, the iPads probably too, the MacBook probably OS X 10.11.
Here is the problem: The boss wants to see on her iPhone and iPad that her employees answer to incoming emails in a timely manner (= immediately), and she wants to see this not only in her Sent folder on the iPhone (that works) but also in her Inbox folder on the iPhone and the iPad by a) seeing the reply arrow next to a received mail (that works sometimes but sometimes not) and b) in the thread view when selecting in the Inbox a received mail that is part of a longer back and forth conversation (that works most of the time not).
To me this sounds really weird. I cannot even find the correct "wrong" pattern here, possibly because I did not have all six devices in front of me when I tried to reproduce this. However, my hope is that someone here recognizes this problem and can help me. Is such a someone here in the forum? Thanks.
