Odd problem. When I type a word with an apostrophe or inverted commas in the reply to an email received or when forwarding an email, the apostrophe and inverted commas key acts as the line return. As an example, it looks like this:
can' don'
t t
I can return the letter after the apostrophe to the line above using the back space but the next time I use the punctuation the key acts as the return key again.
This only happens when reply or forwarding. It does not happen when typing a new email nor does it happen in any other program.
I assumed that some sort of keyboard shortcut had set itself up but restoring all the shortcuts made no difference.
I am running OS 10.10 Yosemite and Apple Mail
If anyone can think of a cure I would be very grateful.
