If I have viewed my mail and texts on my iPhone, once I log onto my Mac, the Mac is inundated with emails and texts, that I've already seen.

Is there any way to only view new emails/texts WHILE I am on the Mac? I don't mind the notifications but if I've already seen them....Especially if I haven't logged onto the Mac in a few days...

This seems like a simple setting but I am not sure which one to "un-click!"

Thank you

Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to disable this... Once the notifications pop up it should sink and show all of your emails and texts as read, correct? This is how mine behaves. It is an annoyance though; every time I open my computer dozens of email and text alerts come flying through...

Ok...thank you for your input! ;)
