Mail " this account already exist"

Hi there, finally trying to set up my email properly (Have mostly used the webinterface of my provider in the past)

So I did set up a proper email PW at t-online.de and typed that in.

On the MacPro and Macbook I get "Dieser Account existiert bereits", the MacMini and iPad accepted it and I had my mail.

MacPro,MacBook and iPad have a joined iCloud account connected to that t-online email address, the Mini is left out of iCloud.

Also tried to create an ...@icould.com email to "free" the t-online one but that was an endless loop "select an iCloud-E-Mail-Address" -> "OK" -> "Create" ->"select an iCloud-E-Mail-Address".....

Funky, tried again to create that icloud mail and when selecting a different suggested username (had tried 2 or 3 before) it got created and afterwards I was able to setup that t-online account....


-> Apple needs to work on error messages that actually tell the user what is wrong (or that something is wrong at all).
