I opened an email from a friend and it is all screwed up. It goes like

-------=NextPart_000_ plus more nubers
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
boundary="---... plus more junk

Plus lots more of stuff just like that such as

Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
X-Apple-Content-Length: 1283
Content-Type: text/plain;

With the [-----=NextPart...] starting every sentence type thing.

I dont know if this makes sense... but I would appreciate some help as to why the email is like this.

Looks like it was encrypted or it has an attachment that was not something Mail.app could handle. How sure are you it's from your "friend" and not spam/virus?

I'm not sure but I just emailed my friend to ask her if she sent me an email yesterday. If she says no... then it was obviously spam... but it says it was from my friend... bc an email address doesnt appear as the sender... but my friends actual name. so idk... i guess ill find out.

Then it's spam/virus and you should just delete it. Particularly since your friend said she didn't send it.
