Just checked the App store and low and behold! Mail update! 34MB download.

I will double check later and see if I got this also. But yesterday I had no update.

Anyhow what does this update improve or fix?

It's on the front page, but the update adds better compatibility with Gmail accounts and fixes several other bugs.

I don't use Mail...Gave it up a good few years back in favour of Thunderbird, but my fiancee uses it..will be interested to see if it addresses the problems she's been having with it.

But does it still download all mail locally. Or does it have the option others were complaining about to not store it locally.
