Hello everyone,

I just discovered a huge problem!
I've only recently changed a gmx.de email account from POP to IMAP.
I've archived all of my old mails before the transfer, so there's no problem with mails older than the account change.

However, I now have the problem that Mail only seems to have those emails stored that are actually on the IMAP server!
It used to save/archive all the emails it received, now becuase of the gmx.de account settings (a free account only saves the emails of the last 30 days) I can only find emails from this time!
This is horrible, I've lost all the emails before that time (I can't find them in /Library/Mail either).
Now I've almost resigned to the fact that those are irrevocably lost, but how do I find a way around this?

I want to have Mail save all of the emails it receives (like it used to) and not only keep those that are on the server.

Any help is appreciated!
