Ive tried opening Mail from the dock and from applications and nothing happens. Next to the apple icon it shows Mail, however the app doesn't open. I have tried restarting the MAC and shutting down and powering on without success. Running on Tahoe 26.0.1

Any help will be appreciated.

If you boot into safe mode, are you then able to open the Mail app?

It maybe that you have a corrupt plist file as it's that which needs to run in order for mail to open.
You just need to find it, delete it and restart the computer in which case it will rebuild a now one. (Or drag it somewhere like the desktop if you prefer
The one you are looking for is
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
or sometimes it might be
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail-shared.plist
The library is hidden but in Finder hold down the option key and press 'Go' in the bar at the top.
and you will find it in ~/Library/Preferences/
Delete or drag whichever one you find, reboot and it should work
