I have the 2011 mini server and have been having trouble the last week or so sending emails. I am using my gmail account setup in the stock mail program. I can receive emails fine but when I go to send one a dialog box shows up for a second then disappears. I can't read what it says fast enough to figure this out. Also after the little dialog box flashes the send button is disabled so I cannot resend.
