Hello. Today my mail app continously crashes. It comes up with an error. It says: The application Mail quit unexpectedly. The problem may have been caused by the GrowlMail plug-in. I do not see were the problem is. I had installed Growl long time ago and also uninstalled it longtime ago. I do not know why this is happening. Could some one please tell me what to do.

It actually is caused by Safari 4. Mail will crash, if you have Growl and Safari 4 installed.
The only way to stop it I am aware of is by uninstalling Growl or Safari 4.

Go to ~/Library/Mail/Bundles/ and delete GrowlMail.plugin. I had to delete it on both of my computers to get Mail to function reliably after installing Safari 4. It's just incompatible. BTW, uninstalling Growl doesn't uninstall the GrowlMail plugin, because they're separate apps.

Thanks Guys! I found out how to solve it. All i had to do was go to Mail preferences and disable Growl. For some reason it was enabled and i dont have it.
