Howdy..

I have Leopard with mail 3.1. I currently use exchanage and Imap with 1&1. It was all working well with 10.4, so please no '1&1 *****' emails. Maybe they do, but it was working before..

My issue is this: My mail will work just fine for a time, with all my mailboxes showing up under my exchange account just pefectly. In my library/mail folder, everything is as it should be. In prefs, I have 'keep copies of all messages" checked.

So, quite often (daily), ALL my mailboxes except inbox and deleted items will just disappear from the left pane. I check library/mail, and all the local caches have disappeared too! Just GONE!

My inbox is still there, and mail still arrives to the inbox.

Then, If I reboot/resync/rebuild/go offline/online, sometimes my mailboxes in the left pane will return. It will then slowly proceed to re-download ALL the mail items (5000ish) in all my mailboxes to rebuild /library/mail.

Once that's done, all is good again until the next time the mailboxes just vanish by themselves, along with all the folders in /library/mail

Anyone have an idea as to what's causing this, or even better, how to solve it? Or just someone else who is seeing this too would make me feel better!

Thanks to anyone who can lend a hand!

Best,

Ben
