I get quite a bit of junk mail (direct tv comes to mind). Is there a way to get off their mailing list? I have tried calling and no good so far lol

I came across a dmachoice website. Is this legit? Anyone use it?

Thanks all

If you scroll down to the bottom of the email there should be an unsubcribe link. In most countries by law there needs to be an unsubcribe link.

Yep the DMA opt-out does work.

...as do the credit-card opt-out methods.

I cut my crap mail down significantly with opting out. DMA is smart enough to know that junkmail sent to people that don't want it is a waste of money. Yeah, there's still some that comes through, but I'd say I had a 75% reduction in junk mail after opting out. Takes a few months to really take effect though, and it expires after 5 or 7 years.

I should have clarified that I am referring to real paper mail but thanks for your input:)
