mailing list program

Im looking for an open source mailing list manager. Visitors to the site need to be able to enter their email address to subscribe to the system. They should also be able to unsubscribe.

My host has mailman but im not really sure if this is what im looking for..

Mail Machine Pro

I've tried dada, and found it quite powerful but a bit chunky and not that user friendly. Another option that works quite well is from mailmachinepro.com there is a free version their also

Yes it is. It's actually what Apple uses for their own lists too: http://lists.apple.com/about.html
(as well as many other lists as well, but just saying...)
