Hi, I am looking for help to restore all default/required system fonts.

I first noticed some fonts not appearing on some web pages, and now it's an OSX issue. All program menus are now uppercase 'A' blocks. (see attachment) If I click on one, it's a huge blank drop-down with no type.

Luckily, fonts are loading in my web browser. Also Finder fonts load (but looks like Courier), and time/date font loads in the top right corner. Folder/file names on desktop also show symbols, but Courier shows when I click to rename.

I've tried a restart in safe-mode (holding down shift), emptying font cache with FontNuke, and with the help of voiceover, navigating through Font Book to look for problem fonts. No luck.

Any ideas? should I reinstall the OS with my snow leapord DVD? Will I loose any data on my user account (music, files, etc.) if I do that? Thanks.
