Main Stage and Pro Tools

Hi all, is there a way to get my instruments in Main Stage to work in Pro Tools? I'm recording some tracks in Pro Tools (9) - and there's great instrument plug ins in Pro Tools - but there's this one I really like in Main Stage that I would like to use right in Pro Tools. I can't seem to figure out how to make that happen without going old school and recording it separately into Pro Tools through an audio out or something.

Don't think it would work. Mainstage uses AU, and Pro Tools uses RTAS.

I ended up just running main stage out of my built in output and ran that into my Tascam interface to record into Pro Tools. Not the best but it worked. Thanks guys for your replies.
