I bought recently a new battery for my MBP,and my previous one died really fast so if you could help me..

I would like to ask you if you could tell me what are the basics steps I should follow in order to extend the life of battery please

When I am at home should I use the battery or the power? how to calibrat it?

anything else I should know about battery life?
