I saw this in the apple store last week and have no idea what it actually does. Any explanations? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1392428519.205924.jpg

I can see the icon on the dock for Deep Freeze. (it's the polar bear icon near the right end.)
The faint print on that maintenance window (DFXControl) also points to Deep Freeze, which is software used to restore systems to a desired standard configuration. Very useful in a retail store (or a high school computer lab), where customers might be knowledgable enough to really mess up a computer. The store just resets the computer, and Deep Freeze resets the software.
