I got a series 3 same time I got an SE, My SE battery was always dire and I could t figure out why as everyone said the SE had great battery life. I got fed up with this and bought a 7 plus and still battery life was poor. When I say poor I’m talking 2hr screen time.

The wife got me a Huawei Watch for my birthday. So deleted Apple Watch and paired Huawei all up. Phone at 66% and so far screen time is 4hrs 19mins, that’s pretty major to me.

Why is this?

I guess the Watch is chatty and keeps the phone awake in order to be in sync. I have the same experience with 6s. I have just replaced the batteri, but that doesn't seem to have made huge difference. iPhone 7 and newer have both big and smal arm-cores in their SOC. I guess they don't see that big difference, because it can be handled by the small cores.

Yes I got my SE battery replaced and that made no difference.

So you’re saying with an Apple Watch 3 and iPhone SE, all you would get in a 24 hour period is 2 hours of use (screen time)?

Yes, I believe I have posted on here about it. I changed batteries even bought a new 7 plus same issue even when set up as a new phone. I’d tried everything I could think off. The moment I unpaired the watch it became evident what the issue was, the watch.

No way on earth is that normal. Have you done a reset on your watch in case there is a rogue app?

Have you turned any of them off and on? I have the SE and maybe one of the apps (Wordscape) drains the battery. I've always turned my Watch off at least once a week cause it could be searching for something. In certain areas of the city, my iPhone will search for cellular. So watch what your iOS device does. Sometimes if you're not needing cellular or an app, turn them off. See what happens. I had my Series 0 paired with my SE and have no problems with it.
