Major bug in CoD MW2?

I'm playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and currently I'm stuck in the "Wolverines!" mission when you get a "Predator Drone control rig" computer to launch drone attacks on your enemies. The problem is it won't go away even though I've tried pressing every single key on my keyboard, as a result I can't access my weapons and the following visual constantly persists:
