Major delay with my photos/videos getting uploaded to OneDrive?

I use OneDrive to have all of my photos and videos automatically uploaded to the cloud. It seems with my new 6S+ that this could take days sometimes before the photos and videos are uploaded. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?
