MAJOR graphics glitches with vmware fusion 2 and win 7 on snow leopard

I have windows 7 installed on my mac through VMware fusion 2. Whenever Windows 7 boots up, it has this really long glitchy thing, and then it seems to glitch up particular parts of my mac. For example, the menubar goes completely black. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it? Or will I have to get VMware fusion 3 =/
