I have virtualbox, it updated to the new 3.2.6 file and something got screwed up in windows, so went to do a fresh install and keep getting all these error msg's. Went to delete vb with the uninstall file that comes with it, but when it opens up the terminal it says blah blah blah do you want to start (yes/no?), I type yes, then it ask for password, but it won't let me type to enter in a password wtf?!?!
Need to reinstall as I'm stuck without my trading program... once again
.
edit - this is what happens in the terminal:
Do you wish to uninstall VirtualBox (Yes/No)?
---so I type yes and press enter
The uninstallation processes requires administrative privileges
because some of the installed files cannot be removed by a normal
user. You may be prompted for your password now...

Please enter (my name) password: ----> I enter the password and nothing happens, no typing, nothing, from what I understand that happens in terminal. But still how is it not recognizing the password used when thats the password i use on this macbook and everything else???
EDIT - ok don't know what the heck I did but I got it to work, just kept typing and pressing entering a few times and it finally accepted it
