major iPhone 4s difference in speaker

Has anyone else noticed the loudness difference between the AT&T iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4s?

For the first time I have to turn the ringer down from full loudness. It startles me otherwise.

Yep. I've noticed this as well.

I find myself turning the volume down. Never did that with any of my previous iPhones.

Yes! I love it. Sometimes I had problems Hearing the other person due to the low volume even when pushed to max. Now I love my new Verizon 4S excellent sound quality and no longer have to strain myself to hear.

Yes on speakers but the headphone volume seems about the same.

Usually, iLounge includes these details in their review but for some reason they left it out.
